Jaichand Harjai
Dr. Kishore Harjai donated $35,000 in memory of his parents
Swarankanta Thapar and Jaichand Harjai, both children during the 1947 partition, settled in refugee tents in Bombay after immigrating to India
Following their marriage in 1960, Jaichand took up the role of a taxi driver while Swarankanta dedicated herself to nurturing their growing family at home
Despite limited education and income, they instilled key values in their four children: respect, punctuality, frugality, and unwavering attention to detail
