3. Receipt Confirmation
Email your name, address, and donation amount to president@gosumec.org. We'll promptly issue a receipt.

A smarter way to give

Recent tax changes raised the standard deduction for joint filers to $29,200 for those under 65, complicating itemized deductions.

The Donor Advised Fund (DAF) lets individuals consolidate contributions and itemize deductions, aligning philanthropy with financial planning.

Contributing appreciated stocks allows individuals to embed capital gains and deduct the full value of the gift.

In high-income states like California, physicians can save about 50 cents on the dollar by strategically contributing to a DAF.

This tax-efficient strategy, combined with Roth conversion, not only enhances lifetime giving through tax-free growth but also supports prudent financial planning.


Clients of Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable and BNY Mellon can make a designation through the DAF Direct window above.

If you're 70 ½ or older, you can contribute to GOSUMEC Foundation USA from your IRA and potentially receive tax benefits.
